Watching the Sunset
Every once in a while we will read a post about someone struggling with posting or shooting, in a slump or busy with other things. And, I suspect we all can relate. For me this period has been longer than any from the past. I don’t carry my DSLR as much but prefer the smaller and [...]
Fallen Leaves
As I mentioned in my last post, when going for our walks, we will sometimes see those things we walk by many times before but have never seen. But, at other times, we will visually see those things that weren’t there the last time we walked that same path. It could be a new sign [...]
Nuts and Bolts
One more walk around my hotel and I see something I had not seen before. Missed it. Strange what each of us will see as we walk around with a camera. So many factors determine what we will find in our viewfinder. How rested we are. Are we present to the moment or lost in [...]

Father and Son
I post-processed this using the preset Simplify from Topaz Adjust.

End of Day
As I normally do after finishing a trip I stepped out on the tarmac to catch the employee bus to my car. This evening I stood in awe and took the scene in. A smile formed as I enjoyed the last few rays and warmth of the setting sun. I really did not care if [...]
Blue Eyes
I would like to take credit for this image but it is not my image. A few years ago my sisters and I gathered some images of family and created a group of images to give our parents for one of those digital picture frames. This was one of this images we used. I played [...]
