I thought this image interesting because of the wet wooden planks on the foot bridge after an early morning rain. The high winds we experienced yesterday and last night did some damage but not as much as I expected. This morning on my way home from coffee shop I saw one tree and couple of fences blown down. Happy Sunday!
This is from a trip I made to San Francisco back in October 2005. I flew out and stayed in a hostel in San Francisco and walked the streets. I processed this image using Silver EFEX Pro 2.
Earls post about the crossings cause me to remember this image I took back in December. It was taken out the window of my hotel in Alexandria, Virginia. I was drawn to the light and patterns. I like how other photographers, or events, can inspire us with ideas or in this case, trigger a memory. I had worked on the image but was not pleased with it so I did not post it until now. This image was taken on an overpass. The bridge really did look like it needed some tender care.
