Morning Frost on Leaves

Morning Frost on Leaves

My sister and I are leaving for Phoenix today. Going to spend thanksgiving with our parents and our sister and favorite brother-in-law. Hopefully there will not be any frost down there. We should be coming back next weekend unless we somehow loose our return tickets. πŸ™‚

Its Snowing

Bright and Colorful

Bright and Colorful

It is lightly snowing this morning with 2-4 inches accumulation. It has let up as I can see blue sky and sunlight trying to break through.  It is also cold, about 27 degrees and expected to dip into the teens tonight. Instead of posting an image of snow I decided to post an image I took yesterday morning on my campus walk. It is bright, colorful and shouts of fall colors rather than our world of white we have today. May you have a super Awesome day!

Where’s the grass?

β€œThe resting place of the mind is the heart. The only thing the mind hears all day is clanging bells and noise and argument, and all it wants is quietude. The only place the mind will ever find peace is inside the silence of the heart. That’s where you need to go.” Elizabeth Gilbert

I took this image a week ago before all the winds swept everything clean. I suspect these leaves are somewhere in Kansas by now. Hope everyone has a good week!

We Call It Fall

Morning Frost

Morning Frost

This is the time of year when temperatures swing from near freezing in the morning then rise by mid-afternoon to 75 and short sleeves. We scrap frost off windshields at 6:30 am then have doors open by noon. We call it fall.

Glad I Didn’t Wait

Took this image over a week ago while on campus. The recent winds of last week have blown most of the leaves into eastern Colorado and western Kansas. Glad I didn’t wait.
