seeing miracles…

“The more you turn inward, the more available the sacred becomes. When you sit in silence and turn your gaze toward the holy mystery you once called God, the mystery follows you back out into the world. When you walk with purposeful focus on breath and birdsong, your breathing and the twitter of the chickadee reveal themselves as miracles…”

Why is it such a challenge to make the moments for our internal connection with the Divine, which to me is my own self, your own self, and Creation. It never goes well for me when I don’t make that time, and it is always sheer splendor when I do. Blessings, g.

You ask a very good question, one many people ask, and one I do not have an answer to. Maybe there is no one answer, but we each have our own reasons. Maybe miracles scare us because they do not provide answers. Yet, as I travel this spiritual path, and as you say, sheer splendor, I’m becoming more comfortable with the miracles, that cannot be explained.
