“If you pass by the color of purple in a field and don’t notice it, God gets real pissed off.” Alice Walker

Yesterday was a cold morning that warmed up nicely into the low 60s. So, a walk in Od Town was in order. I was not the only one there. Here are some images from the day.

If this is an indication of the way this day is going then I’m all for it. Have a super Saturday!

And a thought for the day. “It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.” – Mark Twain

    Storm Clouds

    Passing Storm

“Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you really love.”

    Rumi

The cold wind is blowing right through my coat causing goosebumps and chills. I’m shaking. But nature is sharing its light show as the setting sun shines on the foreground in contrast to the dark and ominous clouds on the eastern horizon. Something pulls me to stay and take it all in. It can’t be explained but it feels good inside my soul to be outside the noisy city. I’m cold.

    Living Life

    Journal and Pen

“You just have to live and life will give you pictures.”

    Henri Cartier-Bresson

I do not always know what will be found between the lines of the pages on my journal. But for over 20 years I’ve taken my pen in hand and opened myself to those blank pages. Words then come, as a gift. And, I think life will also give us words as well as pictures.
