“A tulip doesn’t strive to impress anyone. It doesn’t struggle to be different than a rose. It doesn’t have to. It is different. And there’s room in the garden for every flower. You didn’t have to struggle to make your face different than anyone else’s on earth. It just is. You are unique because you were created that way. Look at little children in kindergarten. They’re all different without trying to be. As long as they’re unselfconsciously being themselves, they can’t help but shine. It’s only later, when children are taught to compete, to strive to be better than others, that their natural light becomes distorted.” ― Marianne Williamson

    Two and Blue

    Two Finch at Two
    Two Finch at Two

I shot this a couple days ago primarily for the blue sky. I watched this male finch land on the sign and knew I wanted a photo. It was taken at stop Two of the CSU Transit Center. There are actually two finches in this image as the female is working on the nest between the 2 two signs. Whoa, to many twos.

Welp, looks like winter wanted to showoff one more time this year. About 4 inches of snow on my car this morning. It is another wet and heavy snow, full of moisture. A lot of trees are leaning over from the weight. I suspect their will be a few snowmen made today. Streets are wet and clean. So, if you’re out and about this morning you will have a dirty car. Thank goodness it’s not cold. 🙂 Happy Sunday.

    Time On Campus

    Studytime
Architecture, Colors, Patterns, Art and People

I enjoy spending time on campus at Colorado State University. The campus is just a few blocks from my condo, an easy walk, bike ride or a short bus ride to the transit center on campus. I use the library for quiet time to read and write. There are three little coffee shops on campus, one in the library and two in the Lory Student Center. There are images everywhere when you look: architecture, colors, patterns, art. And, what a place to watch people, mainly young students, as they move from class to class. And, if your into fast food you’ll think you’ve d moved on to heaven.
