After several days of cold weather we’ve had a couple of warmer days which is now melting our snow. This past Sunday afternoon I got my laundry done, did some writing and reading and took a short walk. A simple day.

It’s been quite warm here, quite unusual for the end of Feb. I like the richness of the shape of this tree. It seems to have some old leaves hanging on?

Yes, I noticed your warmer weather. The tree is a pine tree so those are clumps of pine needles. Stay cool!

The last couple of weeks have been unusually warm in the Carolinas — trees are blooming and green grass is growing. I did see where Europe is getting some seriously cold weather. I guess we should forget anything we thought we knew about “normal” seasonal weather…and when the weather is nice…just enjoy it! 🙂
