A Bit of Frost

sun rising in east
a cold blue blanket of frost
few leaves hanging on

ms

Cold morning, 19 degrees at 5:45 am. That’s too cold so I waited until it reached 21 then went outside for this photo of a cottonwood leaf with frost. Not the best but… Anyway, everything is pretty much shut down now in Larimer County as it is one the counties to go into Level Red due to high increase of cases and hospitals almost maxed out. Our two week positivity rate was 12%, so I guess you can say we graduated. Anything over 10% put us into that level. This means restrictions on numbers in businesses, churches, music events, etc. Most coffee shops and restaurants have no more indoor seating unless they go against the mandate. I am concerned about our small business owners and those who work for them.

Hope you have a safe Thanksgiving Day!

Retired. Having fun shooting Fujifilm cameras. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku. Have a love for fountain pens.

You would think that the cold would keep people indoors, but apparently only the wise ones. 😉

That’s an awfully high virus number, so best to stick it out at home. I’d invite you over for dinner if it wasn’t such a long drive. Instead I’ll have some extra stuffing in your honor. 🙂 Kathy & I hope you have a good day regardless.

My oldest daughter gave me two cornish hens. I’ve never cooked one or eaten one that I can remember, so a first for me. My friend, Joan, is in the process of moving into her new home and will be finishing up cleaning out the od place today. I invited her over for lunch with me, since I have two hens. Other than that I will be spending my day in quiet and solitude. I like both. Thanks for the invitation and yes I would if it wasn’t so far a drive. 😁Happy Thanksgiving!

I do like the image, Monte. We’ve been in the Purple Zone for a few weeks now. So, just the two of us and our dog for dinner Thursday. I was pretty nice actually, no pressure to perfect the meal even though no one complains I get pretty picky about how the meal is done.

    Stay well up there,
    Joe

Thanks, Joe. Glad all went well for you three. on Thursday. We have one county that told the Governor they were not going to comply with the mandate. We’ll see what the consequences of that decision brings. Here in town I see most people complying.
