A Cold Morning

Coffee and a Book
Coffee and a Book

Its, Friday morning. Temperature at 6:00 this morning was 3 degrees, almost 8 degrees now. Enjoyed a beautiful pink sunrise on my drive to the coffeehouse. Christmas is a week away but shopping is done. It’s time to relax and sip on a hot cup of coffee and with a book. Stay warm and have a super weekend!

Retired. Having fun shooting Fujifilm cameras. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku. Have a love for fountain pens.

Whooo…that’s cold! I hope we can dodge the worst of the cold this winter in southern Texas. We’re taking a few days to rest up here along the border of TN and MS before beginning the southern journey. Not sure what we’re resting up from except it being really hectic this last month or so. Keep all the good parts under cover! 🙂

I will take your advice, Brooks, and keep the layers on. Hectic will tire me out quite quickly, the mental fatigue that sucks energy. Take care, rest up and venture along. I expect you will enjoy your time along the coast of Texas.

A front came through yesterday and we’re (relatively) cold at 48 this afternoon. Headed into the 20s tonight. But it’s clear and crisp, and I’m working up the courage to take my camera into town this evening. Might need some gloves!

That’s cold for you guys. That 20 degrees was close to our high for a couple days in a row. It is unusual for us along the Front Range to still have snow on the ground four days after the snowfall. Our sunshine can help melt the snow but when the temperatures stay cold the process is delayed. Stay warm and definitely take along the gloves!
