Cloudless Horizon

We must be true inside, true to ourselves, before we can know a truth that is outside us.

Thomas Merton

I finished my taxes yesterday. My taxes are pretty easy because I do not have the millions that some of you have to deal with. I just enter zeros and I’m done. 😁

I’ve been working on a couple of ongoing writing and photography projects the last few days and plan on more of that today. Drove to Pineridge Natural Area early this morning for predawn colors before having a mocha latte at Mugs. I’m usually not too excited with cloudless skies but this morning was an exception. Hope you are being true to yourself today!

Retired. Having fun shooting Fujifilm cameras. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku. Have a love for fountain pens.

Lots of zeros on my tax forms as well 😀 Lovely sunrise, the cloudless sky allows the water surface to be the star of the show.

It was such a lovely morning up there. The wind picked up about mid-morning and been gusting over 40 mph along the Fort Collins Front Range. I see where it’s even higher on the eastern plains. It has been a cloudless sky for us to enjoy. bLowing the smog east into Kansas. 😁

So you must be in the stratosphere with Bezos and Musk – they supposedly don’t have tax issues either! 😉 I’m still trying to figure out how to do an accurate quarterly estimate so I don’t owe a bunch. 🙁

Like you, I’m not usually a fan of cloudless skies, but a little color, and definitely some reflection, can make it work.
