Fried

Lake Pontchartrain

As I write this post my mind is fried. Not much seems to be between the ears this evening. Every once in a while I slide into one of these places where fatigue and confusion seem to rule. Anyway I wanted to post something. This was taken back in 2007 along the shore of Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans. Coleen,a fellow photographer from the pbase website, picked me up at my hotel and took me to a park along the lade for some sunset photos.

Retired. Having fun shooting Fujifilm cameras. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku. Have a love for fountain pens.

I do have some time off and will make sure I do rest. I really feel that’s my biggest wall. I have a short trip this evening down to CLT then back home. I’ll wave as we fly over! 🙂

I hope you do get some rest. What you lack between the ears today you make up for at the end of your camera. Very beautiful. Now–decaff coffee and some bed rest! Take care.

Okay, Mary Ann, decaf coffee it is and usually what I always drink. In fact, I’m now sitting at one of my local hangouts and drinking a decaf mocha latte. I have some time off and will head to Phoenix this evening to visit with my parents. Told my dad I was going to sit in the other recliner and rest my eyes like he does.
