Light Snow Falling

French Press brewing and waiting for Irish Oats to finish cooking

It’s a cool 33 degrees with light snow falling. I most likely will not be sitting on my porch this morning to journal and read. Sitting in the recliner wrapped in a blanket sounds more enticing. The latest report shows the high winds yesterday helped the Cameron Peak fire to grow to over 100k acres with more mandatory evacuations. Made a French Press and ate a bowl of Irish Oats, now off to the recliner. 😊

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku. Have a love for fountain pens.

One might think nothing should surprise us in this day and age, but this is still surprising. I think back to not so many years ago when there was a predictable defined four seasons. I’m sure your current dose of “winter” is a blessing for local firefighters. Take care.

I read where this is the earliest recorded freeze for Colorado. This coming weekend is predicting back in to the 80’s. Yes, this moisture is much needed and not just to help with the forest fires. The recliner did the trick. 😀
