My Coffee Shop

I usually arrive at coffee shops as soon as they open the doors, around 7:00 am. At this time they are normally slow which adds to my enjoyment. And at this hour of the morning I am usually the center of the baristas attention. It is much quieter, and during these times of the pandemic, much safer. There was one other person in the shop when I took this about 8:00 am. For this first hour it does feel like it’s just my coffee shop.

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku. Have a love for fountain pens.

I just am not a late sleeper, never have been. Must be the anticipation of the rising sun and the beginning of a new day. I do struggle when the temperatures are cold or it’s snowing or both. It’s on record that I’ve slept in until 8:00 am.

I’m not a late sleeper either, feet on the floor by 5:30. However, I am not productive until 7 or 8. But if I have a task for the day, it’s usually completed by 9. 😆 Your coffee shop looks and sounds very inviting.

Sounds like a wonderful day to me! Like Faye, my feet hit the floor about 5:30, and I’m out in the street for my morning walk by 5:45 AM. I love to walk and watch the sun come up. It’s cool hearing the sounds build, the sounds of people waking up and getting started with their day.

That does sound very peaceful, getting an early start in the coffee shop – though I’d probably be drinking tea as I’m not a coffee fan! 😀

I also like the early morning sounds that fill my life. There is nothing like the natural areas where nature sings it’s melodies with almost no sound from man’s machines. And, tea works just fine!!!

Mornings are my favorite part of the day, although I don’t generally start mine quite as early as the other commenters! Getting to the store, gas station or just out for a walk before what I refer to as “The Starbucks Crowd” is my goal. Although I usually prefer to just enjoy the mornings at home.

I enjoy both. I sometimes wonder if my trips to coffee shops is because I live alone. As I mention in my post I do have the barista’s attention for a short time.

Certain routines and locations can add such peaceful pleasure and a sense of stability to our lives, can’t they? Your frequent blog posts have made you somewhat synonymous with coffee shops. When I hear of or see a coffee shop, I often also briefly think of you and probably will continue to do so the rest of my days. Quite the impact, my friend! ☕😉

So, I’ve influenced your thinking. Wow! It’s interesting to imagine how much of an influence we do have on others in small and large ways. I also find myself thinking of someone, family and friends, a memory, due to some encounter in life. Glad I have had an impact on you and hopefully it’s positive.
