Pink in the Clouds

Pink in the Clouds

Here’s those two trees again. Do you ever wonder what this land looked like before man turned the soil for farming, removed the Native Americans, wiped out the wildlife through hunting and poison and put in housing developments, strip malls, warehouses and thousands of miles of pavement?

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku. Have a love for fountain pens.

The State may have to put up a plaque at this site for the most photographed trees!
I can only imagine the land you describe and it’s beautiful.

I’m afraid if they placed a plaque there, then they’d want to put in a parking lot, then more people would show up, then the peace and solitude of the trees would diminish. And, the farmer and I would get ticked. 🙂 The other night I was out there and was greeted by two white tail deer meandering through the cornfield across the road. They may get ticked off too.
