This is a typical scene in most of the industrialized world. I find people are not aware of most things around them. I’m not sure they are aware of the Red-tailed Hawk sitting in the tree across the street. The song of the robins as they announce the rising sun. The chickadee making it’s two-tone high-low call. The squirrels chasing each other in the tree just behind them. Or the photographer taking their photograph. 
It was 13 degrees this morning while waiting for the bus as I headed to campus and a mocha at Morgan Library. What was I thinking or was I? Anyway the mocha hit the spot and library was warm quiet.
It’s easy for me to catch the bus from my condo, just a 3 minute walk. The bus system provides access to most of town but it may require transferring buses. This image was made while waiting for the first bus of the day.
