I’ve been seeing the same thing on my walks. Discarded masks and fast food containers, only feet from a parking lot with trash cans. I don’t understand litter anyway, but especially things like this that can easily be reused. We share opposite sides of the bell curve, I guess. 🙁

It’s something I did as a youth because I didn’t care and was not really aware of my actions. I’m of the belief that people are more aware of their actions and, unfortunately still don’t care. I’m also aware that we have much more trash in our culture than when I was younger. I’m now more prone to pick-up another’s trash but the mask is something that I won’t pick-up with my hands.

Sadly I have seen these also. Never did I think we would be in a time where we would see discarded medical masks, but hey, these days are shifting the paradigms for sure. Another pet peeve of mine is seeing those plastic tooth pick/floss things laying around. I mean, what kind of person cares so much about dental hygiene and then just discards it on the ground in a parking lot???
