Monte, I’ve got to tell you (I may have mentioned it before on Twitter) that I find the tonality of your black and white imaging to be absolutely wonderful. I always find myself struck by the clarity and the quality of your work. And that’s without even getting into other things like your thoughtful compositions and choice of subject matter.

Thank you, Cedric! I have been shooting and processing more in black and white. It’s appealing to me for some reason. I have found the monochrome film simulations in my camera are sweet and easy to switch too. I especially like the monochrome with a green filter. I do very little tweaking in Lightroom, except cropping or straightening. And, as you know, the more we practice our creative craft the better it becomes. Something inside of me suggests my aging (maturity) allows me to see the world differently than 10, 20, 40 years ago. Thanks, again!

I also smiled as I watched this young man. He seemed to be relaxed and not worried about any homework or some test. Just chill’ln out! We can all do more of that. 🙂
