    I Got It All Done

    Georgia Mud Fudge

What a beautiful day  we had yesterday. Bright blue skies, a brisk wind from the west and temperatures around 50 degrees. It was a busy day, doctors appointment in the morning, the never ending laundry and packing, grocery shopping, trip to Kinkos, bills needed paid and a a DQ blizzard needed consumed. I tried a new flavor I had never heard of before called a Georgia Mud Fudge. It’s made with chewy baked brownie pieces, cocoa fudge, vanilla soft serve and Georgia pecans. Even though it was a busy day, I got it all done. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

    I’m one of them ….

    The Red and Yellow Bench

Benches. They’re everywhere. Parks. Bus stops. Peoples front yards. Hotel lobbies. Airports. Train stations. Churches. I must admit I’m one of the many photographers who finds benches as an interesting subject and has a few archived on our drives. Yep, I’m one of them.

    The Knowledge Giver

    The Knowledge Giver

The city of Loveland, Colorado has been involved with sculptures for several years now. They yearly host a show called Sculpture in the Park. The city has also created a park on the north side of Lake Loveland called the Benson Sculpture Park sponsored by the Loveland High Plains Art Council. I’ve posted images from this park previously. But the sculptures are not just in the park. We can find them in all areas of the city. I found this wise man just outside the Public Library. His title is ‘The Knowledge Giver” and was done by SethVandable.

    Snow Along the Front Range

We must protect the forests for our children, grandchildren and children yet to be born. We must protect the forests for those who can’t speak for themselves such as the birds, animals, fish and trees.

    Spring Snow

Last Thursday morning we received about an inch of snowfall, one of those wet Spring snows that soaks the ground. I arose early in anticipation of the snowfall and headed for Lake Loveland. I parked on the west side of the lake and shot towards the east looking out across an unseen horizon. I was not pleased with the white balance, nor could I find what I liked, so I processed it in black and white. Worked for me. The second image is straight from the camera.
