Gorgeous golds and blues! I can’t imagine looking around anywhere on this planet and not seeing the beauty of nature. Hope you are enjoying your visit with your family.

Very well said, Faye. I wonder if the only way a person can look at our world and not see its beauty, what it has to offer and realize we are an integral part of it rather than separate from it, is because they can only see with clouded eyes. And, we can define clouded in many ways; fear, hatred, resentment, separation and more. Yes, I did have a delightful time with family. I was able to have some quality one-on-one time with my day. Dad put down some of his walls because I don’t know if I’ve ever heard him say ‘asshole.’ Lots of laughter and way too much food. May you have a wonderful day!.

Gosh, what is it when there’s a single tree standing all by itself in the open? It brings me to a full stop. Perhaps because it reminds me just how fragile and how near we are coming to losing so much. Once again, lovely photo and thoughtful quote. Take care, Monte!

Sounds like you and I would be stopping at the same trees. For me there is a feeling these isolated trees present, maybe even a lesson for me. It’s a resilience to stand alone, not defiantly but knowing that we belong right where we’re planted, have taken root, to live a life we were created to live. Hope you have a super Awesome day!
