While in Old Town Square this past weekend I came upon this father and his daughter in concert. They were blowing on this kazoo sort thingies. He was playing the piano and she was pounding the keys, totally oblivious to everyone around them. It was awesome. Well, to be honest they could use a little more practice together. 🙂

I loved seeing all those old pianos around Old Town, and it’s great to see them being used. And whether they need practice or not they’re having fun, and that’s kind of the point, isn’t it? I’m actually amazed they still work, but evidently someone maintains them somewhat.

Yes, they maintain them and have a location they can store them. Local artists do the art.
