People/Portraits

I Like People

I like people. I like photography. I like putting them together. Its fun pointing a camera and lens at people and then pressing the shutter button. I like the interaction I can have with them, watching them relax as the session moves along, watching them laugh, move to create poses. If done right, its fun for all and  good images will present themselves.

Retired. Having fun shooting Fujifilm cameras. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku. Have a love for fountain pens.

Yes. After they get used to the camera, then all of the good photos come out – the stiffness is gone. Very nice portrait, Monte.

I was invited to an Urban Portrait Workshop in Denver this past weekend by a friend. It was a good opportunity to shoot with professional models. I’ll post more later.

Photographs of people are my favourite photographs to view. Without a doubt. It’s a shame that I am mostly hopeless at creating them for myself.

    Nice one Monte.

I know what you mean, I have some portrait photographers I could spend hours browsing through their work. Yet, I have more keepers because I have made a bunch of lousy photographs. Thanks, Cedric!
