The Art in Nature

Some will debate about whether a photograph is art. That’s a debate I stay away from. Yet when I see an image of a flower, a clouded sky, a mountain stream, I realize that Nature is the true artist and is in the process of creating new work every moment. I love it!

Retired. Having fun shooting Fujifilm cameras. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku. Have a love for fountain pens.

Here you have once again taken some mundane everyday leaves and through seeing deeply have made a strong, well-formed photograph that shows us something we would not ordinarily notice about leaves and the way they grow.

Thank you, David! I’m not sure the reasons for seeing life so differently over the past few years. I can point to life experiences, much more reading and a heavy emphasis on my photography. Hopefully it is all moving me in a positive direction.

I’m with you, but only if mother nature had an intent of creating it all this way. 😉
I’m so in love every spring, in love with that very green colour. It’s something magical with it, so light, with a slight of yellow in it.
