Inquisitive Minds

Had the honor of shooting some portraits of 17 month old twins on Monday. I love how the inquisitive mind of this young lady is checking everything out. She was fascinated by the eagle then discovered the water left from an earlier sprinkling of the garden. And, had almost no interest in me.

Retired. Having fun shooting Fujifilm cameras. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku. Have a love for fountain pens.

It’s moments like this where children can teach us to look closer at what is around us rather than the face of a phone or television screen. Thank you Bonnie and hope all is well with you two!

Several years ago I photographed triplets in successive years, and it was interesting to see their minds grow along with their bodies. The curiosity is fascinating. I’d love to have a bit of it bottled up for myself, but have to get by as best as I can! 😉

Yes, “the curiosity is fascinating.” I am leaning more towards that curiosity through observation, touching, being present rather than taking what I’m told to be the truth. Innocence of youth. When you get that bottled, give me a shout!
