The Touch

While on a bus ride there was a couple sitting across from us who were holding hands. I really liked how they were holding hands or should I say touching. There was no tight grip nor were their hands intertwined but had a relaxed and comfortable touch. Their touch is what made it special. I felt they were sharing intimate feelings and words with each other.

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku. Have a love for fountain pens.

    Hi Monte,
I can understand why this caught your eye. Sometimes words are not needed. Your isolated shot is wonderful, capturing a tender moment that shows these two are so in tune with each other. Glad you have your camera handy for shots like this!

Though and awfully late reply to this post, it is a beautiful photo. One that is full of feeling, history, and insight.

I saw an elderly couple walking down the street the other day, holding hands. It spoke volumes to me. A wonderful photo, Monte!
