We are a microwave culture. Waiting is not quality many of us have. While sitting at the bus stop in San Antonio I noticed this couple patiently waiting for the bus. They were not in a hurry and few words were said between them. They stood in the shade of the small tree and waiting. I found their patience calming. Not sure about you but I could use more patience.

You are so right that we seem to have abandoned patience. I see it in myself and struggle with it. None feel we deserve to wait for anything. That saddens me. Something we have waited for often has an added sweetness.
